WHat is Meadowkirk?

Meadowkirk is the perfect place to embrace simplicity and community. Their cottage accommodations are bunk-style with 8 beds per room and include communal bathrooms. We hope to engage in life-on-life bonding and activate our child-like excitement in their fun “camp-style” rooms. The cottages also provide a separate community building space with a fireplace, a kitchenette, a private outside fire pit circle, and a large back porch. They are surrounded by 360 acres of gorgeous country-side for exploring and star-gazing. Check out pictures of the cottages here and see pictures of the land here.

Though Meadowkirk is a retreat center, their dining experience is quite unique. Their personal Chef is ready to bless us with his fresh, farm-to-table meals in their beautiful dining hall. The food is never frozen, high quality, and comes from local farms in the area. See pictures of the beautiful dining hall here.

 

What is included in the cost?

MeadowKirk is a high-quality retreat center. Our accommodations are simplistic, yet the dining experience, meeting spaces, and picturesque setting are worth the higher price compared to other popular large group retreat centers.

A large portion of the registration costs includes five farm-to-table meals plus coffee and snacks throughout the day and our large StoneBarn Meeting Space. The StoneBarn comes with beautiful high ceilings, a gorgeous stone meeting room, extra spaces perfect for morning/late night devotionals or ministry, and an inside firepit circle. Are there accommodations for those with dietary restrictions/food allergies?

Yes. Meadowkirk does accommodate meals for those who are dairy free, gluten free, and/or nut free. However, you must submit this information during your registration process as Meadowkirk food services must receive this information in advanced of the retreat. Request made the day-of cannot be accommodated.

 

What should I bring?

Please come prepared with:

  • Bedding, towels, and toiletries.

    The cottages can include sheets, pillows, and blankets for an additional $25. Please select the “upgrade” option at registration for those to be included. Otherwise, plan to bring your own.

    Bathrooms include hand soap, but you will need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

  • Exercise clothes & Mat- We will have 3 optional instructor-led workouts

  • Exploration/Hiking Clothes and Shoes

  • Coat/Jacket/Gloves (weather impeding)

  • Warm and Comfy clothes for late night Fire Pit Time (Friday & Saturday PM)

  • Bible, journal, and pen

 

What is the difference between the registration costs?

All the registration options cover lodging and meals. However, the baseregistration cost does NOT include bedding/towels while the add-on “OPTION” includes sheets, pillows, and towels provided by Meadowkirk for an additional $25.

 

Do I have to pay my registration costs up front?

From August 18th through September 30th, you will have the option of signing up for a payment plan. This will allow you to spread out your registration cost to 2-3 payments depending on when you register. After October 1st, the payment plan will no longer be available and you will have to pay the entire registration cost upon registration.

Please note that there is also a registration fee based on your total amount.

We have had past event registrants ask about additional charges to their accounts. Please read the details carefully so that you do not incur additional charges not associated with our event.

 

what is your refund policy?

REFUNDS:

PARTIAL REFUNDS UNTIL OCTOBER 6th: We can refund up to 50% per registration if you request for a refund by October 6th. 

NO REFUNDS STARTING OCTOBER 7th. If your cancellation is received after October 6th, based on retreat expenses that will have already been purchased we are unable to offer refunds. Thank you for your understanding.

9:30-11: Morning Session/Activation (Michelle Dant)

12-1: Lunch

1-6: Free Time

2-3pm: Craft (optional)

3-4pm: Optional Wellness Workshop/Workout (Debra Bell)

6-7:00-Dinner

7:30-9pm: Evening Session (Pastor Michelle Lawrence)

9-10pm: Firepit Circle

Sunday Nov 24th:

7-8am: Optional Morning Group Workout (Rebekah Johnson)
